Cats, idk, haven't played with them in a while (even though I'm a cat lover too).Īnd dont get me started on cottage living. Dogs either like to go hunting or they dont, that's the only major difference I can really find in their personalities. If they're gonna be that boring, at LEAST let me control them. They're very similar to babies being objects IMO. I think the biggest problem with animals in the Sims 4 is that. I find Cats & Dogs to be kind of similar to Cottage Living in terms of the animals, maybe just a little bit better. I felt like I was going crazy because it seems like this entire sub loves it! On that note, pets have been so GLITCHY for me! They work well for the first week or so then they start complaining about not having a clean litter box (even though it is clean and the only way to fix it is to buy a new litter box), complain that they’re starving even though you filled up their food and ur literally begging them to eat before they run away, and other small things.ĭo I like having the option to have pets every now and then? Yes, but honestly sometimes I wish I could have my $40 back so I can spend it on a nice dinner or something lolįinally somebody said it.

I had a fridge that a cat kept hopping on over and over and literally the cat would get stuck! Like how can you get up but not down? I had to manually move the fridge so the cat would teleport down, call the cat over so it would get out of the kitchen, and then put the fridge back. Then I really wished I had it back because pets would do the weirdest stuff and it’s so hard to fix because sometimes simply resetting the pet wouldn’t work. I think my issue is that I rarely play with anything in the pack anymore! At first I was sad that you couldn’t control the pets like you could in TS3, but I shortly got over that. I was inspired to write about this after I saw so many people recommended this pack as a good “starter pack” or the better pack between 2 or 3 options. Now don’t get me wrong, the pack is nice and all, I guess.
